Define a Payment Method
The Simba application facilitates the processing of payments made via different payment instruments. Payments can be made using multiple third-party payment methods that the Simba application is configured to accept. Some of the commonly used payment types, such as the ones made using credit and debit cards are processed via a payment gateway.
Prerequisite: Before you start, ensure that you install and configure the required payment application from the Marketplace.
In the Simba Admin console, you can add the payment methods available in the marketplace. Here are the list of payment methods that the business can opt for:
- Bank Cheque Application
- PayPal Application
- Braintree Application
- Transaction Fee Services Application
- Paybox Application
- CACF Application
- Credit Customer Application (Only for B2B)

Percentage | The transaction fees percentage is calculated on the total order amount. This percentage calculation method varies depending on the inclusive or exclusive of VAT.
Note: If the percentage is not specified, the transaction fees will be calculated based on the defined fixed price. For example, if the total order amount is 100$ and the % is given as 10%, then the transaction amount would be 10$. |

Intra-community VAT management
|
Total fixed price exclusive of field |
Determines the total fixed cost of transaction fees that need to be applied for an order. Note: This fixed price is added to the percentage. If a percentage is not defined, the fixed fee cost inclusive of VAT will be considered for calculation. For example, if the total order amount is 100$ and the % is given as 10%, then the transaction amount would be 10$.Now if the fixed amount is given as 5$, then the total transaction amount would be 10 + 5 = 15$. |
