Amazon Personalized Recommendations

Overview

This video shows how Amazon personalized recommendations suggest products based on user preferences and behavior, using advanced algorithms to make the shopping experience more relevant. It covers where the recommenders appear on the storefront: the homepage, the product details page and the cart page.

Storefront – Homepage

Amazon recommenders are shown prominently on the homepage as carousels, such as best sellers and trending items. After logging in, users also see a Recommended for You carousel, which is tailored to their interests and past purchases.

Storefront – Product Details Page

On the product details page, customers find a Customers Also Viewed section, which highlights items that other customers have shown interest in or purchased.

Storefront – Cart Page

On the cart page, customers see a Frequently Bought Together recommender, which suggests complementary items that are often purchased alongside their current selections.
