Overview
This video introduces the search app and shows how it is implemented for a store. Once the app is installed, the store supports semantic search across its product data fields, so shoppers get relevant results even when they search in everyday language.
Search App – Installation
The example starts with a store that already has categories and products added. The search app is installed for this store, and semantic search then runs against the product data fields that are available.
Storefront – Search Results
Because the search is semantic, a phrase such as “I want a white T-shirt” or “I need a white T-shirt” doesn’t return an empty response. The white T-shirts available in the store appear on the product listing page.
