The following new features or enhancements have been added to the Infosys Equinox Commerce 9.0.0-beta release.
About this Release
The Merchandiser Admin, CSR Admin, and Settings Admin are now available in version 9.0.0-beta with the same capabilities as version 8.x. The only change is that these applications now use 9.x APIs instead of 8.x APIs.
Settings Admin Enhancements
Business and Store Management Updates
The Settings Admin now includes the Businesses module, accessible from the left navigation.
This update allows administrators to switch between businesses and stores using the Switch icon in the top-right corner.
Businesses Page
The Businesses page in Settings Admin now provides enhanced business management capabilities.
This update allows administrators to:
- Create new businesses.
- View all businesses displayed as cards.
- Filter businesses by status.
- Sort businesses by Name or ID, in ascending or descending order.
- Search businesses by name or ID.
Business Detail Page
The business details page now provides expanded management capabilities.
With this update, administrators can:
- View and edit business details from the Overview tab.
- View and enable business-level microservices from the Available Microservices tab.
- Create one or more new stores from the Stores tab.
- View all stores associated with a business as cards.
- Filter stores by status and type.
- Sort stores by Name or ID, in ascending or descending order.
- Search stores by name, ID, or default locale.
Store Page
The store details page now includes enhanced configuration capabilities.
This update allows administrators to:
- View and update store details using the Store Info tab.
- Create and associate microservice instances using the Instances tab.
- View and create store-level properties using the Properties tab.

Inventory Management Updates
The Merchandiser Admin now includes an Inventory module, accessible from the left navigation.
Inventory Dashboard Page
A new Inventory Dashboard is now available within the Inventory module. The dashboard provides a centralized, at‑a‑glance view of inventory health and offers quick access to core inventory workflows.
With this update, administrators can:

- View inventory positions by location, SKU, and lot
- Track On‑hand, Reserved, Available, and Allocated quantities
SKUs Tab
The SKUs Management page provides centralized control for managing inventory SKUs.
With this update, administrators can:
- View all SKUs in a searchable, sortable list
- Import and export SKU data
- Add, edit, and delete SKUs as needed
- Manage SKU attributes such as code, name, category, unit of measure, and status
- Identify lot‑tracked SKUs
Lots Tab
The Lots & Batches page enables lot‑based inventory tracking to support expiry‑sensitive inventory.
This update allows administrators to:
- View inventory lots by lot number and SKU
- Import and export lot data
- Add, edit, and delete lots as required
- Track manufacture date, expiry date, and days remaining
Reservations Tab
The Reservations page provides visibility and control over inventory reserved for orders.
This update allows administrators to:
- View reservation details including SKU, requested quantity, allocated quantity, and status
- Track reservation expiry timestamps
- Identify pending and active reservations
- Search, import, and export reservation data
- Create and edit reservations manually when needed
Transfers Tab
The Inventory Transfers page supports inter‑location inventory movement.
With this update, administrators can:
- Create and manage transfer orders between locations
- View transfer details such as SKU, source, destination, quantity, and status
- Track shipment and expected delivery dates
- Import and export transfer data
Transactions tab
The Inventory Transactions page provides a complete audit trail of inventory movements.
This update allows administrators to:
- View transaction history by type, date, SKU, and location
- Track quantity changes resulting from inventory events
- Monitor transaction status and execution details
- Export transaction records for auditing and analysis
Replenishment Policies Tab
The Replenishment Policies page enables configuration of automated replenishment rules at the SKU, location, and channel level.
This update allows administrators to:
- Define replenishment policies by SKU and location
- Set policy types such as Reorder Point
- Configure inventory thresholds, including reorder point, reorder quantity, minimum level, and maximum level
- Search, filter, and manage active replenishment policies across locations and channels
Replenishment Orders Tab
The Replenishment Orders page provides visibility into replenishment requests generated by inventory policies.
This update allows administrators to:
- View replenishment orders by order ID, location, and SKU
- View replenishment orders across the full lifecycle, including Draft, Submitted, Approved, In Transit, Received, Cancelled, and Rejected
- Create, submit, and cancel replenishment orders
Inventory Configuration Page
Location Management Tab
The Location Management page is now available under the Inventory tab in Settings Admin, providing centralized control over inventory locations and channel‑specific inventory behavior.
With this update, administrators can:
- View all warehouse and store locations in a structured list
- Identify locations by code, name, type, status, city, and state
- Search and sort locations for faster access
- Import and export location data
- Add, edit and delete inventory locations
- Configure channel policies within each location to control inventory allocation and availability by sales channel
- Create and manage multiple channels per location, each with its own allocation strategy, priority, and thresholds
- Enable or disable channel policies at the location level
Inventory Availability Tab
The Check Availability page enables real‑time inventory availability checks across all locations.
This update allows administrators to:
- Select a SKU and requested quantity
- Specify the sales channel
- Perform proximity‑based availability checks using latitude, longitude, and maximum distance
- View real‑time Available‑to‑Promise (ATP) quantities
