Overview

This video shows how a CSR admin uses the newly introduced pricesExtension store property to customize actions and grid configuration on the Merchandiser Admin Prices page. The property is added in the store’s Advanced properties, and its JSON controls the page’s action buttons, custom header actions, data table columns and the fields in the Add Price form. The video then compares a store without the extension against one with it enabled.

CSR Admin – Action Buttons

Add the pricesExtension property with the required JSON. The admin can disable the Import action with disableImport, the Export action with disableExport, and the add action with disableAddSku.

CSR Admin – Custom Header Actions

The actions property adds custom actions in the header. In the example, a Resend Price Update action shows a success or failure notification when it runs.

CSR Admin – Data Table and Add Price Fields

In the dataTable section, defaultColumns defines the default columns for the price listing, such as SKU ID and Status, and further columns can be added for price management. addNewPriceAdditionalFields adds extra fields to the Add Price form, such as Original Price.

Merchandiser Admin – Prices Page Before and After

In a store where the Prices extension isn’t enabled, the table shows the Import, Export and add buttons, and Add Price has no additional columns. After the extension is enabled, the Import option is disabled, the Export option remains available and the add option is disabled. The custom action defined for the store is visible, and when adding a new price the additional price field appears as expected.
