This page describes the 9.0.1 release, which introduces four new backend services — Promotion, Account, Loyalty, and Subscription — and delivers plugin extension support across all 14 Inventory Service domains, new connector bundles for PIM and User services, an Enrichment Plugin, and three frontend applications.
About this Release
The Promotion Service, Account Service, Loyalty Service, and Subscription Service are now available in version 9.0.1 as fully featured platform microservices. The Inventory Service has been enhanced with universal plugin extension support across all 14 inventory domains. Two new connector bundles — PIM Apps and User Apps — are now available as AWS Lambda Layers, and the Enrichment Plugin is available for price enrichment and product validation. The Ultra Storefront, Ultra Admin, and Batch Job Dashboard MFE frontend applications are also available in this release.

This release introduces the Promotion Service, which provides the platform’s pricing and offers engine. Merchandising teams can author promotions, organise them into stacking groups, target them with promo codes and wallets, and evaluate them against a shopping cart to compute the final discounted total.

The Settings Admin application (port 4002) provides platform configuration.
With this release, platform administrators can:

Marketing Admin
The Marketing Admin application (port 4004) provides campaign management.
With this release, marketing teams can:
- Create and manage promotions, promo codes, and marketing campaigns
- View campaign performance and promotion usage
Batch Job Dashboard MFE
This release introduces the Batch Job Dashboard MFE (@eq/batch-job-dashboard-mfe, v1.0.0), a React-based micro-frontend providing real-time visibility into batch job execution.
The dashboard exposes federated modules so it can be embedded into the Ultra Admin portal or run as a standalone application.
With this release, operations teams can:
- Create, edit, pause, resume, and delete batch job definitions
- Monitor active, completed, and failed job runs in real time via WebSocket
- View performance metrics including success rates, duration statistics, and trend analysis
- Drill into individual job executions for error diagnostics
- Integrate the dashboard into any host application via exposed Module Federation modules: ./Dashboard, ./JobsList, ./RunsList, and ./JobDetails
