AI – First Platform Apps

Personalized Search App

The following new features or enhancements have been implemented as part of this release:

  • Supports pagination in Ranking Lambda of the “Personalized Search” app.
  • Installed, deployed, and validated Ranking Lambda of the “Personalized Search” app.

Easing the setup of the products in the Catalog admin using AI

Product Create App

The following new features have been implemented as part of the “Product Create” app:

  • Generate additional attribute values from the product description field in the Catalog which is generated from the PDF that is attached to the product and save the additional attribute value to the catalog.
  • Generate the product description from the audio file that is attached to the product and save the attribute value to the catalog.
  • The “Product Score” app can be called from the “Product Description” app when the toggle “Enable Scoring” is enabled in the app configuration.
  • Add more fields in the “Create Product” pop-up of the Catalog Admin console.
  • Ability to click on the plus (+) icon to add the URLs of the product create attributes such as audio, video, PDF, and image on the “Create Product” pop-up of the Catalog Admin console.

Product Score App

The following new features have been implemented as part of the “Product Score” app:

  • Get the product score based on the relevance of the product image and the quality of the image.
  • See the product score UI in the product overview page of the Catalog Admin console.

App Marketplace Apps

The following new apps have been intergrated:

Validator Apps

Reference Validator App

  • A Reference Validator app has been developed and published in the Equinox App Marketplace. The validator app has been registered for all the validator extensions. Sample validation logic for each extension is written in the app, and whenever the app receives a request for the extension subscribed, the app validates the request and provides the response.

Payment Apps

Cybersource App

  • Cybersource app in Equinox gives customers the option to pay with credit cards and digital wallets like Google Pay by integrating with Cybersource payment provider.
  • Once the Cybersource app is activated for a store, merchants can easily enable the ‘CARD’ and ‘GOOGLE PAY’ payment methods in the payment admin. This straightforward process ensures customers have a variety of payment options to choose from.
  • The app supports payments for normal and subscription orders and allows merchants to capture all payment transactions like authorization, charge/settlement, refund, and cancellation.

Klarna App

  • The Klarna app in Equinox allows customers to select Klarna as a payment method at checkout and complete their purchases. Klarna app supports options like pay later, financing, and instalments.
  • Once the Klarna app is activated for a store, merchants can enable “KLARNA” as a payment method in payment admin.
  • The app supports payments for normal and subscription orders and allows merchants to capture all payment transactions like authorization, charge/settlement, refund, and cancellation.

Shipping Apps

USPS Shipping App

  • The USPS app in Equinox allows the customers to choose USPS shipping options configured by the merchant via Shipping admin after activating the USPS app in a store.

Tax Apps

Avalara Tax App

  • The Avalara app in Equinox connects your business with Avalara AvaTax to calculate SALES tax accurately and dynamically.
  • Get sales tax for a specific tax code if it is included in the tax code field within SKU properties.
  • Specify if a calculation of sales tax for shipping is required in the merchant configuration for the app.

Address Apps

USPS and CyberSource Address Validators

  • The address validator apps validate the shipping/Billing address provided by the customer during checkout or while adding an address to a profile.
  • The apps can validate the address and provide address recommendations if required.
