Release Changes for Infosys Equinox Commerce Admin Console
Order Admin
The following new features or enhancements have been implemented in the Order Admin console for this release:
- Ability to view the total orders of the store. [ECS-16, ECS-31]
- Ability to view orders based on the selected date range.
- Ability to view the orders that are in progress and not yet fulfilled to the customers. [ECS-17, ECS-31]
- Ability to view the failed orders (due to some technical reasons, etc.). [ECS-18, ECS-31]
- Ability to view all the back orders. [ECS-19]
- Ability to view the orders that are submitted for returning, cancelling, exchanging, or reconciling the item(s) by a CSR on behalf of customers. [ECS-27]
Loyalty Admin
The following new features or enhancements have been implemented in the Loyalty Admin console for this release:
- A new action type named “Set Tier” has been introduced to set the tiers of the customers. The tiers are configured in the customActionTypesConfig collection property. [ECS-347]
Release Changes for Infosys Equinox Commerce Microservices
Payment Service
- A new plugin “stripe-payment-plugin” has been added for the payment integration.
Customer (User) Service
- The Google’s Firebase Connector plugin has been added for user authentication and to store and retrieve user credentials.
Technical Improvements
- All microservices and framework have been upgraded from JDK 8 to JDK 11 and other dependencies have been upgraded accordingly.
- Read-Write split implemented in DB sessions in all the microservices for RDS to improve performance
- Cost optimization completed with respect to MySQL, Mongo and Redis connection tuning and Pod count Optimization have been completed as well.
- Spring boot version has been upgraded from version 2.5.6 to 2.7.2.
- All libraries (196+) have been upgraded to the higher valid versions.
- Liquibase has been upgraded in EcommConfig from version 3.8.8 to 4.5.0.
- Added Spring Kubernetes ConfigMap support, which is an alternative to Apache ZooKeeper for externalizing the configuration details for platform services.
- Cosmos MongoDB support has been added in the current platform.
Azure Capability
- ConfigMap, Azure Key Vault, and Enterprise Redis have been enabled.
- Cosmos DB has been enabled and validated partially.
Note: To use the functionality fully, the two bugs need to be fixed.
Bug Fixes
