About Simba Admin

Infosys Equinox Simba is a flexible, modular platform designed for change. A user-friendly e-Commerce Platform to create, develop and grow your B2C and B2B online sales channels. 

Infosys Equinox Simba assists you with all projects, whether you are targeting small, medium, or large trade or individual customers, you want to grow internationally, connect to your ERP or roll out a multi-channel strategy. 

You can take advantage of a catalogue containing apps and features, design, and digital strategy services to give your business growth a real boost. You can sell your products online through your website built on the Simba e-commerce platform, through marketplaces, Google Shopping, price comparators, and digital ad networks.

Onboarding the Merchant

Infosys Equinox Simba Admin Onboarding helps a merchant to quickly onboard by setting up personal, business, and store details, install necessary applications, add products, create categories, and define campaigns and promotions.

Accessing the Application

Once you successfully complete the onboarding, you can access the application using the credentials provided to you.

Navigating through Admin Workspace

Once you log in to the application, the workspace displays the left navigation menu, header, presets, search, and import/export links.

Working with Search and Presets

You can search for records using the Search text box on the header. Additionally, you can use the presets in each of the functional pages to filter, view, and sort columns.

Viewing Account Profile

In the Infosys Equinox Simba Admin console, user can view/update their profile and/or reset their password on the My Account page.

Managing Store, Apps, and Teams

The merchant can manage the stores, apps, and team members in the home page. The admin console provides the admin user the ability to map the relationships of all microservices to a store and provides store details, that include store name, store ID, store locales, the default store locale, store status, and store type.

Multiple Locale Support

Simba Admin provides multiple locale support. As a merchant, you can configure locale-specific content for the fields in products, categories, and promocode messages.

Functions

The following table provides the list of functions in the Simba application:

1. Orders Orders functionality enables direct access to all orders across the channels in which your business operates, including web stores, mobile applications, through point of sale (POS), or Internet of things (IoT) devices.
2. Products Product functionality enables you to create products and configure product details such as attributes, assets SKU, SEO, Category, and additional product details.
3. Assets Assets Manager provides the folder structure to manage all assets.
4. Categories Categories functionality organizes products within the site navigation to display the appropriate navigation tree structure in the Storefront.
5. Customers The Customers functionality enables the admin to create and manage customer accounts, and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to manage customer accounts.
6. Accounts Accounts help to integrate the B2B processes of Simba across sellers and buyers.
7. Campaigns Campaigns give businesses the ability to author and deliver targeted offers and related pricing incentives applied to products and services sold through its storefront as well as other channels such as customer service representatives (CSRs).
8. Subscriptions The Subscription function allows customers to subscribe to products that are purchased frequently or at regular intervals of time.
9. Your Apps Your Apps enable you to install and integrate third-party applications such as payment, shipping, loyalty, transaction fee, tax-related applications for your business.
10. Page Builder Using Page Builder, you can build pages for your e-commerce storefront.
11. Settings The Settings menu has the options to set up information related to store, attributes, account segment (for B2B stores), user segment (for B2C), payment methods, shipment methods, and domains, tax configuration, and loyalty program.

The following table provides the functions in the Settings menu:

2. Store Set store information such as business type, store name, time zone, currency, ship to region, status using the Store function.
3. Attributes Manage Product Attributes, Product Attribute Group, Category Attributes, Account Attributes (only for a B2B store), and Customer Attributes (only for a B2C store).
4. User Segment Segment distinct user groups and map price for each of the segments for the B2C store.
5. Account Segment Segment distinct user groups and map price for each of the segments for B2B store.
6. Payment Methods Install and configure one or more approved third-party payment method applications that are required for the business.
7. Shipment Methods Install and configure one or more approved third-party shipment method applications that are required for the business.
8. Shopping Cart Limitations Limit the shopping cart by setting the minimum and/or maximum shopping cart amount for selected customers, customer categories, price groups, accounts. Using these criteria, the merchant can set one or more cart limitations with priority and validity period for each limitation.
9. Transactional Emails Create automated emails, which are sent to a recipient’s email address after a specific action.
10. Domains Configure the domain with one or more locales and associate each locale with the respective currencies.
11. Advanced Tax Define and manage the tax calculation, install and configure the Advanced Tax application for the business.
12. Loyalty Program Set up and schedule loyalty rewards for a period where a customer can use the loyalty reward programs to earn, track, and redeem rewards.
