A milestone represents a time period when a specific construct of a category is expected to go live. A category can be created without a milestone; however, a milestone is needed in order to add products and creatives to a category. Merchandising includes the ability to have multiple milestones and an intuitive, user-friendly way to represent the milestones on a calendar view.

A milestone represents a time period when a specific construct of Site Navigation is expected to go live. A milestone is needed in order to create or modify the categories included in the Site Navigation and define the tree structure of the entire Site Navigation. Merchandising includes the ability to have multiple milestones for the Site Navigation and an intuitive, user-friendly way to represent the milestones on a calendar view.
