Q) How many types of stores are there? What are they?

Functionally, we have 3 store types, but technically there are 2 store types. The store B2B2C is the extension of B2B including B2C features.

Q) Can accounts be linked with a B2C store?

No, the user account cannot be linked with a B2C store.

Q) What are the differences between B2B, B2C, and B2B2C stores?

  • B2C – Account cannot be created. Both guest users and registered users are allowed.
  • B2B – An account can be created. Only registered users are allowed.
  • B2B2C – An account can be created. Both guest users and registered users are allowed.

Q) What are the imports supported as part of automation?
As part of automation, imports are supported for these services: Catalog, Pricing, Merchandising, Inventory, Promotion, and Loyalty.

Q) Is it possible to change the datasheet or add a new sheet to automate?
The data sheets are hard coded and the user may not be able to modify the datasheet to add additional data.

Q) What store type is supported in automation?
Currently, only the B2C store type is supported for automation.

Q) How much time does the store automation take to complete?
It takes approximately 15 minutes for the end-to-end flow of store automation to complete. However, there may be a slight modification depending on the chosen domain or the environment’s bandwidth.

Q) What happens if an error occurs as part of the automation flow?
The automation flow will be halted and a link to the Batch Histories Page will be provided. Alternatively, the user can also choose to Retrigger the automation flow by clicking the “Retrigger” button in the Feeds Admin console.

Q) Does the automation also include re-indexing?
Yes, the catalog, pricing, and merchandise re-indexer will run as part of automation.

Q) Will I be automatically redirected to the storefront page after automation is complete?
No, the user will be redirected to the storefront’s config page. In the “Store Id” field, the user must enter the store ID of the newly created store and click “Submit” to enter the storefront’s home page

Q) Can I enable custom collection properties for microservices?
No, currently, the microservices are auto-associated as part of the store automation, and default collection properties are assigned
